International Frameworks Supporting REDD+

Warsaw Framework on REDD+

Seven important decisions adopted during COP 19, jointly known as the Warsaw Framework, provide the comprehensive rules for implementing REDD+ under the UNFCCC.

Paris Agreement

All efforts link REDD+ back to Article 5 of the Paris Agreement, which encourages Parties to implement and support REDD+ as part of climate change mitigation actions.
